Terms of use
The terms under which we offer this site and the information we publish about our courses.
Effective October 8, 2026. This is a translation; if it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version governs.
1. Acceptance
These terms govern the use of preinstitute.net. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use it. These terms cover the website; they do not replace any enrollment agreement you sign with us, which governs whatever it covers.
2. About PREI
Professional Real Estate Institute Inc. is a real estate school in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, accredited by the Puerto Rico Real Estate Board (Junta de Corredores, Vendedores y Empresas de Bienes Raíces de Puerto Rico, Lic. CA-148) and in the state of Florida by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (Lic. ZH1002924).
3. Course information
We try to keep course prices, schedules, formats and descriptions correct and up to date, but they may change. The information we confirm when you enroll is what counts.
4. License and exam
The requirements to obtain or renew a license are set by the Board in Puerto Rico and by the DBPR and the Florida Real Estate Commission in Florida, and they may change. What we publish is a summary to guide you; always check the current requirements with the relevant agency.
Completing a course prepares you for the exam, but passing the exam and receiving the license depend on you and on the issuing agency. We do not guarantee that you will pass or that you will be granted a license.
5. Enrollment and payments
Sending the application from the site does not enroll you automatically: our team reviews it and contacts you to confirm your enrollment. To save your seat, the enrollment deposit is required, which you can pay online through Stripe.
For questions about payment plans, refunds or cancellations, contact us before paying.
6. Use of the site
You may use the site to learn about our courses and to enroll. You may not use it to send false information or someone else's information without their permission, send spam, try to access parts of the site that are not public or interfere with how it works.
7. Intellectual property
The text, the PREI logo and PREI's own photos belong to Professional Real Estate Institute Inc. Do not copy them or use them for other purposes without our permission. The Board and DBPR logos belong to those agencies and are shown only to identify our accreditations. Some photos come from free stock image libraries.
8. Reviews
The reviews we show were posted on Google by students, and each one links to Google. Some are from graduates who now work with us, and we say so in their review.
9. Third party sites
The site links to third party services such as Google Maps, Google Drive, Stripe, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. We do not control those services; their use is governed by their own terms and policies.
10. Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, PREI is not liable for damages resulting from the use of the site, service interruptions or errors in the published information.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
12. Changes and contact
